Organize your Content on Narratize with Projects

To organize content on Narratize, you can create projects to make the output you generate easier to find on your Dashboard and share with others.

What are projects?

Projects are the way for you to connect the content you generate with other related content and to share it with other members of your team. For example, let’s say you are part of the marketing team. You and your team are planning your August marketing campaign and you want to keep the campaign materials organized. This is where Projects come in.

You can create an August Marketing Campaign Project and assign any content you generate related to the August Marketing Campaign such as a product marketing white paper, social media posts, and a thought leadership article. Other members of the marketing team will see the associated content to make it easier for you to coordinate your efforts.

Here's how to get started using projects.

Add and view projects from the Dashboard

Each user has a unique Dashboard view that can be accessed when you log in to Narratize.

1. To create a new project from the Dashboard, click Add Project.

2. Name the project and click Create.

This project will show up on your Dashboard, and will become an option for you to save to when you generate your next piece of content.

Assign the project to a team

If you are an account administrator, you can assign the project to a team.

  1. Find the project on the project list on your Dashboard.
  2. Click the three buttons.
  3. Toggle to Manage Teams.

  1. Select the team you want to assign the project to from the drop-down menu. In the example below, the project is assigned to the Narratize help center team.
  2. Click Save.

🚩Note: The team must be created before you can save a project to the team.

Save to a project in the use case workflow

When you generate a piece of content using the templates, you have an option to create a new project when completing the workflow for your use case. When the output is generated, simply click on the file icon and the bottom of the editor screen.

🚩Note: You must add a title before you can save it to a project.

From there, you can save the output to an existing project, or create a new one.
